What a better way to mark the start of the coming fall season then to visit the beautiful Gatineau Hills. Our residents at Embassy West enjoyed seeing the changing colors of the leaves and taking in the breath taking view from the Huron Lookout.
Friday marked our first “Dinner & A Movie” at Embassy West Senior Living. Your seniors enjoyed a delicious dinner from our Chef Denzil and then headed to our Theatre to take in the new release “Life As We Know It”. Our new concession stand was a hit with everyone. There was never a need to get out of those comfy Lazy Boy loungers as staff provided full service straight to your seat.
Make sure to keep a look out to see what movie we’re checking out this week!
Our seniors are making great strides in our seniors rehabilitaion program through the Family Physiotherapy Centre located right in our facility. Rose takes great steps to show off that her wheelchair will soon be a thing of the past.
Our seniors had a true experience that made them feel like Jamaica was only steps from home. We served up the classic dish of jerk chicken with rice and beans, and then took minds on a trip to the beautiful island as we learned about its rich history and current attractions.
